DARRELL GWYNN FOUNDATION

SELECTS EASTER SEALS AS BENEFICIARY

OF ITS NATIONAL WHEELCHAIR DONATION PROGRAM

Organizations partner to provide wheelchairs to children with disabilities in select markets

(April 20, 2007) – Davie, FL – The Darrell Gwynn Foundation (DGF) has selected Easter Seals as the beneficiary of its National Wheelchair Donation Program, launching the organizations’ relationship with two recent donations of customized power wheelchairs to children served by Easter Seals in Daytona Beach and West Palm Beach, FL.

“We are delighted to begin our relationship with Easter Seals,” said Darrell Gwynn, founder and president of the Darrell Gwynn Foundation.  “We share Easter Seals’ commitment to help improve the quality of life for people living with disabilities, and it will be a privilege to work with Easter Seals in select communities to provide wheelchairs to those who need them through our National Wheelchair Donation Program.”

In addition to the wheelchairs donated at two recent NASCAR events in Daytona and West Palm Beach, the DGF has committed to donate six more wheelchairs to children served by Easter Seals in Bristol, TN, Richmond, VA, Atlanta and Miami.  Another wheelchair donation event is scheduled in Daytona, FL, as well.

“The gift of mobility is monumental for children living with disabilities,” said James E. Williams, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Easter Seals.  “We are grateful to Darrell Gwynn and his Foundation for the impact this generous commitment promises to make in the lives of children served by Easter Seals across the country.

Through its Wheelchair Donation Program, DGF purchases brand new, customized power wheelchairs to individuals, especially children, suffering from spinal cord injuries and other debilitating diseases.
