A UNIQUE CAR GEARED FOR CELEBRITIES TO BE AUCTIONED OFF AT LAS VEGAS BARRETT-JACKSON CLASSIC CAR AUCTION

Proceeds Benefit Nonprofit Darrell Gwynn Foundation

Las Vegas – (September 22, 2008) – A highly prized car designed by DUB Magazine for celebrities will be sold at the inaugural Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction with proceeds benefiting the Darrell Gwynn Foundation, a Florida-based nonprofit that provides custom wheelchairs to children and young adults.

The 2007 Lincoln MKZ DUB Edition Custom Show Car, donated by business people and car enthusiasts Tom and Cindy Wright, will be auctioned off in lot number 204 around 6 p.m. October 16th at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. Money raised from the auction will support the Foundation’s paralysis prevention, care and advocacy work.

The never-licensed fully loaded car, which has been customized and upgraded by DUB Magazine, features GPS on a dash-mounted LCD screen, AM/FM/Satellite sound system, and 7 inch TV/DVD monitors built into headrests. The car also has 22 inch color-matched TIS 08 Brand Rims, 22 inch Pirelli Tires 245/30/22, grey suede interior trim, a performance exhaust system, and custom lower suspension.

“We thank Tom and Cindy Wright, longtime supporters of DGF, for donating this magnificent car,” Foundation president Darrell Gwynn said. “We know a lot of collectors attending the Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction will want to own this exceptional car. We expect to set a record price.

“This is a one-of-a kind custom DUB edition Lincoln MKZ that you can’t buy anywhere else,” said Myles Kovas, president of DUB Magazine.

Gwynn, a former National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) star who is paralyzed from a 1990 racing accident, created the Foundation in 2002 to provide wheelchairs to children and young adults and advocate for people with spinal cord injuries and other debilitating illnesses.  The Foundation is an official charity of Barrett-Jackson.

In conjunction with the auction of DUB Magazine Lincoln MKZ, the Foundation will present a new custom, power wheelchair to a 15-year-old boy from the Las Vegas area with cerebral palsy. Mason Partee needs the motorized chair to move about more easily in his neighborhood and school.

The agency has donated more than 50 wheelchairs at racing, fishing, car auctions, and other events, as well as when needs arise throughout the year.
